Alltel Wireless Alltel's P.O. Box is all that is on my statement. P. O. Box 79033, = Phoenix, AZ 85062 After 24 minutes of working with a techie named Tayler, a fellow who = refused to give either his last name or an employee number, I asked for = a supervisor to help me resolve my cell phone problem. Alltel is = upgrading their system and their upgrade info letter did not stop the = roaming signals, even in my home area. I was overcharged last month due = to roaming charges in my home area and it appears as though I will be = overcharged again. After finally getting a requested = supervisor...Tayler obviously had a cookbook directive to correct this = problem, I spoke with someone named Ivan. He basically informed me that = Tayler was doing this change properly. Tayler put me on hold at least 6 = times and was gone for about 3 minutes each time. I told Ivan that I = had better things to do with my time and if the correction could be made = within five minutes then I would continue to play the game. Otherwise, = consider me one less customer of Alltel. Incredibly, Ivan told me to = "get a better attitude when I call back" and then he hung up on me. My suggestion...if you want to be overcharged monthly, spend hours of = wasted time on another phone besides the cell phone, have Alltel = employee's refuse to truly identify themselves, and ultimately just hang = up on you because they have neither the intelligence to handle problems, = nor any fears of reprimands, then call Alltel immediately. Mr. Tayler_________and Mr. Ivan_________ need to find a vocation that = suits their attitudes and skill levels. This event occurred from approximately 12:50 AM to 1:20 AM Mountain Time = using their suggested tech support line 1 800-ALLTEL-1option 3. Perhaps = someone might just be able to find these individuals and help them with = their customer management skills.
