Earnhart's Dodge Complaint

Dear Sir,

I have about complaints about Earnhart's Dodge in Gilbert and I have also to add. My truck, a 1999 Dodge diesel broke down on the way to work. I had it towed to Earnhart Dodge in Gilbert Arizona. They called me and told me it was my lift pump and my injector pump and that it was going to cost $3500.00. I called the turbo diesel registery and they told me to make sure that they do not put the lift pump in the gas tank. When I called them and they told me they were, I told them to do nothing. And if I bought an aftermarket injector pump, would they install it. They said "no". I told them to wait for me to call them back before doing anything. I ordered an aftermarket injector and lift pump. Called Earnhart's back and told them that I was going to have the truck towed home. They asked why and I told them. then they told me the mechanic would put an aftermarket pump in. I told them I would do it myself, which I did the following week. When I got my truck running, all of a sudden my A/C was not blowing out my vents. I noticed that someone had taken a punch and put a healthy punch mark in my heater/AC selector switch. This was done deliberty at Earnhart Dodge of Gilbert. It worked prior to me taking it there and there was no such mark in truck either. I am the only one that drives it. I will never buy a truck from them or recommend that anyone that anything to them. And you wonder why I fix my own cars and trucks.

Businesses like this that say "no bull" are full of it and maybe someone will read this and tell their story, if they had anything happen from Earnhart's.

I will be copying this letter to the BBB.

Thanks,

Jeff Totman
