Dell computers

Dell computers My husband and I purchased a Dell computer and printer in November of 2005. When we purchased the computer we were told that we would receive a $50.00 gift card to use for future purchases. We never received it. The printer broke a few days after receiving it. The computer has a program that has never worked. The package we purchased has support. When you call support they do not know how to fix the problem. Actually I figured out the problem myself. I ordered print cartridges for the computer. You can only order the ink cartridges from Dell, you CAN NOT get the ink cartridges at Staples or Office Depot. They shipped the cartridges, but I live in a multiple unit building without a door person. I just spoke to the shipping company about tracking the package. The shipping company has the package, they attempted to deliver the package twice. I asked if the package can be delivered to a different address. The shipping company said Dell has to approve the change and Dell charges $10.00 to change it. I'm surprised they don't charge us a fee for daily use. I just want to take the time to encourage others to think twice before buying a DELL computer.
