Meineke Car Care Center

I took my car to Meineke because my car was over

heating,they replaced the water pump and some hoses

and they charged me 556.13, so when i went to pick up

the car they said that the car needed additional work

that would cost 625.90 to replace the intake manifold

gasket. At the time i didn't have the money to repair

the car at that time so i took the car and parked it

in my driveway until my daugther saved up the money to

finish the repairs. When we took the car back to

Meineke i had to get it towed because it wouldn't

start. So now the total charge for the car would be

829.20 instead of the 625.90.Then Shawn from Meineke

called saying that a employee put in some push pins in

the car wrong and they will replace them with no

additional charge to me,but this takes over a week to

repair.Then when they finally finish the worked i paid

for the tell me that the car needs a new head gasket

and that i should just get a new engine for an

additional 600.00,so i asked him why would he be

making repairs to a car that needs a whole new engine,

they said that when i took the car the first time that

the odometer read that i drove it for 1,000.
