Terrible service Jerry Hardenbrook Westminster S.C. 29693 I would like to register a "terrible service" complaint concerning Bellsouth. We quite often lose dial tones. I will be on the computer and lose connection because the phone goes dead. Many times we pick up the phone to make a call and there is no dial tone. We live in the country and cannot get dsl or sattalite. So we depend on dial-up. It has been an ongoing thing for several years only to get worse in the past few months. Yet when it comes time to pay the bill they sure want their money. I am very sure it will get worse since the merger with AT&T. I decided to go on the internet and look up the complaints. I was not surprised to see the many, many complaints. I also have Cingular cell phone service and also had more problems than I can remember. I will be cancelling all services possible in the near future because after reading the many complaints I see no hope of continuing.
