Aspire Visa Gold Card To Whom This May Concern: I really don't know if you want to know the whole story, but this is = it: =20 I have had my aspire visa card for about 6 months and I am looking = for the complaint department for them, somehow to get to the higher up = people so that I may place my complaint directly into their hands. My = bills have always been irregular, and appear one week before my bill is = due so I am forced to either pay it over the phone - which costs more = money - or to pay it on-line - which costs more money - or send it = through the mail and suffer a late charge regardless the fact that it is = THEIR FAULT that they send my mail out late. Three weeks ago, I was receiving calls from a 1-800 number that = would not leave a message on my answering machine, day and night. As a = rule, I don't recognise numbers I don't recognise, for my spare time is = very valuable - when I'm not managing Wendy's I'm working on my novel - = but finally after the 5th day in a row, I answered the phone. I had 30 = minutes to get to work, for I had to close. My husband was standing = with me. The Indian lady - their office IS based in India - asked me if = I would like to make a payment on my visa card. I explained to her, = that I wait until my bills arrive in the mail and then I pay them. She = explained to me that I was 3 months late on payments. I explained to = her that I had not received any bills for 3 months, and that was the = sole reason I had not paid them. She became argumentative and put me on = the phone with her supervisor. Her supervisor was put on the phone, and = she was even more argumentative. By this point, my husband was furious. = I am very patient and just politely reiterated the facts several times, = until my husband took the phone from me, and began disagreeing with the = lady on the phone. He froze for a moment then told me, "She just called = me uneducated!" He proceeded to yell at her, which is his way for he = does not handle confrontation well AT ALL, hangs up the phone, and = throws it onto the couch. =20 How are we uneducated if WE ARE NOT RECEIVING MAIL IN OUR MAILBOX = FROM THESE PEOPLE?!?!? And that when we DO get mail from this company, = that they almost ALWAYS insure a late payment from us? How is this = proper business ethic? You don't INSULT your customers!!!!!! I want an = apology, and I want to know that other people aren't going to have to = deal with this kind of treatment from a SUPERVISOR! And I feel bad for = the employees that are working under such supervisors. They shouldn't = have to work under such horrible conditions. I want to talk to somebody higher up that will listen to my case. I = don't know where to go, and I don't care how long it takes. I can = guarantee that once my income taxes come in I will pay those = manipulative cretins off and cut up my card. They will have no more of = my money than I owe them, and in fact, I shouldn't owe them as much = because, me, being the doormat I usually am, letting people walk all = over me, have made excuses for them when my bill doesn't come in a = timely fashion, and have paid all of their unnecessary late charges.
