CVS photo lab

CVS photo lab I took a roll of film to CVS photo lab on June 15. Store located at the corner of Tara Blvd. and Battlecreek Rd. in Jonesboro, GA. These were pictures of MY MOTHER'S 90TH BIRTHDAY PARTY! I was told to expect them back on the following Wednesday, June 20. I returned on the 20th, and they could not find them. The customer service photo lab line showed NO RECORD of the photo order. THEY LOST THEM!!!!!!!!!!! Supposedly, the photo lab people are doing a "lab search". Since there is no record of the roll of film being received, this has to be a problem with the courier who was supposed to deliver them to the lab. One lady at the lab was very nice and said that they usually turn up at the home office, and that there would be an update on June 29. Guess what? It's June 29 and all they can tell me is that they are "lost". If I ever find out who is responsible or what happened to my photos, someone is going to pay! I mean lawsuit! I have used CVS to develop my photos for years, and of course THIS important roll had to be the one lost! Once that film leaves our store it is out of our hands. I know from speaking to some of those people from Kodak that around holiday times (busy times) they don't put them into the system like they should. Which I think is completely stupid because they're more likely to lose something if it's very busy. They've actually lost my mom's order before and another customer's order as well. They were done before Christmas and should have been back well before Christmas because they were sent before that cut-off date. They never came. I've called and complained, pretending to be the customer in question b/c calling as an employee gets you nowhere. They said they'd call in 72 hours, they never did. They did about a week plus later to tell me they were still looking. I'm gauranteed they won't find it. I do not recommend the send-out service at all. I do recommend the one hour service however, as long as the tech knows what they're doing (and they should).
