Citibank Mastercard Indian Call Center Title: Citibank Mastercard Indian Call Center Message: I've used Citibank for 5 years and never had to wait 7 minutes to make a simple transaction until today. The one difference with today's transaction was that I was forwarded to a call center in India. You can see from your records that I've spent $40,000 over the last 5 years on this card, so I'm not pleased that your customer service has wasted $10 of my time so that you can save a dollar. I also use a Providian Visa and have always had prompt and competant service from them. I called the rebate center to get them to send me a rebate check, because the one I requested online didn't arrive. They put me on hold for 5 minutes (my phone has a timer). After checking my address, I was put on hold again. The receptionist was apparently from India and spoke terrible English. This isn't her fault, I'm sure she tried her best. It's Citibank's fault for using them and wasting my time. I've always had bad experiences with your Indian call centers, and this is the last straw.
