bridal shoes and dress/David's Bridal David's Bridal, Hoover Alabama My daughter and I ordered a bridesmaid dress and shoes dyed to match = from the Hoover Alabama store three months before the event. We gave the = store cashier three phone numbers to reach us so we could pick them up when = they were ready. We called numerous times and finally got the dress just two weeks before the wedding but the shoes were not there. We were also told that there was nothing we could do about being charged the wrong amount = for the dress. We came back two more times before the wedding but still no shoes. The wedding was out of town so there was no way to get them any = later than two days ahead of the wedding (three months after the purchase). = Today 6/23/07, I came back to the store to get a refund for the shoes that = never arrived and guess what? They had them! They further claimed they came in = on April 1st! They had no explanation as to why we were not given the shoes = on the three store visits before the wedding. You would think two things purchased on the same day three months ahead could arrive on time! They = were not even special orders and there were no alterations. To top it off the staff informed me that all sales are final. Even if we did not get the = item before the wedding!! My daughter and I were in the same store last winter, hoping to look at bridal dresses for her wedding too. The customer service was so bad on = that visit I was just shocked. We could not even get someone to answer a = question about a veil. We thought that was probably just a single incompetent = sales person so we just hoped for better luck next time. Oh well.so much for = that idea! Good luck to anyone trying to get help from this company.
