HOME DEPOT REBATE SCAM

HOME DEPOT REBATE SCAM Hello! In December, my husband and I purchased a GE refrigerator from the Home Depo= t, because a 100 dollar gift card/rebate was promised with purchase. We imme= diately filled out and mailed-in our rebate information. Within a month, we=20= received our deliver rebate, however we never heard anything for months and=20= months regarding our 100 dollar gift card rebate for the purchase.=20 Just yesterday, June the 18th, we FINALLY=C2=A0received a letter from the Ho= me Depot rebate center stating that our rebate request has been denied. They= claim that our=C2=A0rebate request was postmarked after the required postma= rk date of 3/30/2007--which is bogus!=C2=A0We mailed the rebate forms immedi= ately after purchasing and receiving our unit, the first week of January! Ir= onically enough, the salesman who sold us the unit said that the Home Depot=20= has millions of dollars in unclaimed rebate money! HAAA!=C2=A0=C2=A0If the H= ome Depot had=C2=A0really intended for us to receive our promised=C2=A0rebat= e, they either would have given it to us immediately after purchase, or offe= red us a sales discount. Home Depot is a scam retailer, and we will never EV= ER spend another dollar in their stores.
