Stay away from Fleetwood products Travel Trailer Brake Replacement after 2000 miles of use This complaint is to warn RV users of the problem I had with my 2006 Fleetwood Pioneer 180 CK travel trailer. We bought the trailer in June of 05 and used it 6 times putting about 2000 miles on it. On August of 06 after a camping trip the brakes where getting hot and noisy on the drive home. I took it to the dealer where I purchased the trailer stiers RV in Bakersfield CA to have the brakes checked out. I was told that the brakes where completely burnt up and that the warranty had expired a month earlier and the manufacturer Fleetwood wouldn't cover it. I am a farmer and in my line of work I pull trailers several times a week, on my travel trailer I use the brakes as little as possible. This was a manufactures factory defect of the braking system and should have been covered by Fleetwood. I have emailed them several times asking them if they would stand behind their product and replace the brakes, I did this twice and never received a response. Needless to say $1500 later I fixed my brakes. I will never buy a Fleetwood product again especially if they won't stand behind the quality of their work. Stay Away from Fleetwood I hope this story will help anyone with their next RV purchase.
