Swiss American Jewelers in Los Angeles,Ca.

Swiss American Jewelers in Los Angeles,Ca. Quite a few years ago, my wedding ring set was stolen. My husband, being the type of guy he is, decided to buy me a new set. He even let me pick it out! We went into Swiss American Jewelers, back around 2000, and purchased a nice new wedding set. We filled out the credit application, and left with my rings. A couple of days later, I took my ring to a jeweler we knew to have it cleaned, and he noticed that my diamond was busted. We took the ring back, and after a small argument with the salesman, our ring was fixed. Twice more, we had problems, and thought they were corrected. We made a few payments, then fell into hardship. We tried to come to an understanding, or new arrangement, but they would not agree. Needless to say, we stopped paying and tried to return the rings. That was a no-no. They didn't want the rings back. We actually stopped payments for about 5years, due to extreme hardships, and recently made arrangements to pay again. So far, we've done 3 payments, as agreed, but are still getting charged late fees. How are late fees possible, when our payments are now early? And now, they're making deductions through my husbands new job, even though we are paying them monthly. (So, hopefully we can still afford our rent after this) And to top it all off, I found out that my diamond is still busted(which they will not fix)! Needless to say, they are jerks. They care more about a few dollars, than their customers. Sure, we were wrong too, but we're making ammends(even paying years of interest)...but they're taking advantage. Their jewelery is not all that great, and seems kind of defective...or is it just the employees? Don't make the same mistake we did...shop at a real store. Like Daniels jewelers...at least they'll treat you with respect!
