Saleswoman (sw) came out to house, showed = samples and measured rooms. My gf chose some Shaw carpeting something = called Kingdom Collection and Nova Collection. When we later checked = with Shaw via email they could tell us nothing about either collection = unless we sent them style numbers, etc. none of which we had from sw. = The sw gave my gf a good price and my only input was that the sw should = leave us all details before she left. She gave a total price, I had to = pry sq ft cost out of her, and she worked backwards from the total or = whatever to give me it. When she left I noticed the contract had very = little info. Only the collection names and totals were on it but = nothing about style, color, pad, intall, etc and the contract said = anything not specifically on contract was not covered by the contract. = My gf called her and had her fax an itemization. It was still a bit = lacking. Anyhow it is a good thing my gf was personally there for the = install and a tad skeptical because the intallers brought out some = really cheap carpet and pad. My gf asked intallers what brand of carpet = it was and they said that Empire Today makes its own. The order was = canceled and it is interesting that the sw never called to see what was = problem. I would never recommend nor do business with them. From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Thursday, 14-Jun-07 10:49:00 CDT Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
