Complaint about Circuit City I purchased a GPS unit from the Hayward location. I found the unit I purchased cheaper at a Walmart. I paid a visit to the store to get refund for the differance, but I was told that there was a 14 day return/refund policy. It was the 14th day and I was denied the differance refund. I guess they hire the mathematically challenged! About three weeks later the GPS unit fell off of my winds shield and hit the floor. It no longer receives traffic info nor does it charge. I called Garmin and they said that they have no problem replacing it with a new unit, but I could also return it to the store. I called the store and tried to negotiate with them, but received an attitude. The store manager was basically rude as were the employees over the phone. I understand the there is a 14-day return policy for this item, but under the circumstances, I feel that they should exchange it for me. I can still return it to the manufacturer, but it will take about two weeks. At this point I feel that I'm made a mistake by purchasing anything from Circuit City and (right now) don't plan on returning ever again. I'm sorry to say that I may be a dissatisfied, non-returning customer and will make sure I voice this to as many others as possible.
