Direct TV installation

Direct TV installation I called Direct TV to obtain an upgrade to an HD DVR system. I already = have HD and a separate DVR so no cables have to be run nor does the dish = have to be changed. I was promised an installation visit between 8:00 = and 12:00 AM on Wednesday. I stayed home as another delivery we being = made that day. I verified with Direct TV that the installation, which = required only changing the connection of 3 cables, was scheduled for = Wednesday and it was. Wednesday AM I received a call from Iron Wood = installation service and was informed that the installation was never = set for Wednesday and the best I could expect was Friday AM. Another day = wasted waiting on the service people. I called Direct and got no = satisfaction so I called Iron Wood and got even less help. I was told by = Iron Wood that I could be placed on the "pending" list and I might get = an earlier date. I told than again that the "installation" only required = reconnection the "box" to the existing cables and they said that they = don't do that but they install each system individually. What install, = it's 3 cables to disconnect and reconnect. What am I missing.
