Chevrolet HHR complaints

Chevrolet HHR complaints Ok It all started when I bought an 06 HHR from William L Morris Chevrolet in Simi Valley. I paid cash for the vehicle as I was getting divorced and my attourney recomened that I liquified the cash so my Ex could not get it. All that being said I went and picked out my HHR and they did not have the color I wanted on the lot but they could get it from a dealer trade with Rydell. I said ok That works,,, Then they sent me out to Rydell as they could not transport the vehicle to be hit with more " Fees for transport". I paid the feeas as I was desperate for any car at that point. Now is when the fun really begins. I had an issue where the AC in the car would not turn on due to the temp gauge not functioning. I brought the car in to Venturta Chevrolet and they stated it was a bad thermostat and that replacing it would fix this issue. I have been around cars since I was a kid so I was mesmorized with this new style thermostat that was able to send a temperature of the coolant to the computer and wanted to know how that worked. I was told " You stick to what ever you fix and let us fix your car". At this point I contacted Chevrolet directly at there customer service and was told by Trisha Clark that there was nothing they could do other then get me back to another dealership and she recomended I go back to where I bought it. Silly me she set up an apointment with rydell 40 miles away rather then where I thought I bought the car. I got out to rydell and they had my car for a week and claimed they could not find the problem. I asked them to Auto start the car and see if it starts. It did not so they stated we need the car for a few more days. After another week they finaly gave me my car back with things some what functioning for 2 days. I waited through the winter as not being able to start the car was kind of annoying but not as bad as summer with NO AC!! I reported back to Chevy that the car was not fixed but still needed to be. They recomended we give William L Morriss a try so I said OK. I gave them all the info and they stated don't worry we will get that thermostat replaced for you. I explained to #1 the service advisor #2 the service manager and #3 the owner, Currently owned by Jeff Morris who did not take his fathers idea of customer service and adopted his own of one customer can't hurt me, That this would not fix the issue and It had. He explained "Jeff the owner of William Morriss" That he knew all of the surrounding dealerships and If I did not let him try he would personaly contact them and tell them not to do the warranty repairs to my car but redirect me back to Mr. Morriss. I went ahead and let them look at my car after having it for 4 days and replacing the thermostat again, The car still has the same issues and now it's worse. I called all the dealerships in Ventura county to be told the car has to go back to William Morriss for service where they want to replace the thermostat again. I know the thermostat has nothing to do with the problem and this is all they want to replace. I was quoted 1 million dollars from the service guy if I wanted to have anything replaced with the Temp sensor, wiring, or the cars computer. Now this has really sent me to the point of having my car painted lemon Yellow and putting big signs on the entire car detailing all of this and a big Don't buy a chevy logo on it as this is the only way I bedlive my car will be taken care of. This way other consumers won't make the same mistake I did. Thanks to any one who can help get this resolved.

It has too many issues to list. I own and hate a 2007 that I bought new. If you've not filed a complaint with the Dept of Transportation you should.
