Whirlpool Washing Machine <html><div style='background-color:'>I had purchased a whirlpool washing machine in October-05 and there is a warranty for 2 years. The washing machine stopped working last month and I called the local service centre in Mumbai. They have said that the chip has been damaged by cockroaches and I have to pay Rs. 3000/- despite the warranty. I would like to highlight that the company has written the 'limitations of warranty' in such a manner that it is easy to wriggle out of any warranty claims.
