Kay Jewelers Complaint KAY JEWELERS Located at Capital Center Boulevard in Largo, Maryland I ordered a Leo Diamond Ring on 4/4/2007 at the Largo Store of Kay = Jewelers for my wedding as they did not have the ring in stock. They = promised the ring to me in writing on my wedding date of 4/11/2007. The = ring never arrived there until 4/13/2007 which was after my wedding = date. So I had no rings to wear or exchange when I got married!!! To = butter me up the sales girl Niesha Lewis informed me to take the ring = that finally arrived and wear it for 90 days of the date when I picked = it up and if I was still unhappy to return it.=20 Well on a week before the 90 days was up I went in to return it as I = felt that the LEO diamond was just an okay ring and that the diamond was = not all that it is hyped up to be for the money and found a better = bargain for my money elsewhere. Kay Jewelers and customer service team = refused to honor it because they said she rung the sale up before I = received the ring which was never in their store. They should not have = rung the ring up until the ring actually arrived. Do not buy from Kay = Jewelers at all run to the nearest exit! Their parent company Sterling = Jewelers are trained over the phones to refuse all returns even if it is = a day late it does not matter to them. Their diamond quality is very = poor as well and they overcharge consumers for the service agreements = per ring which most consumers do not need. I now have to hire an = attorney to get my money back from the scheming sales people at this = store.
