I had, one day reviewed my Transunion credit report and saw a collection account on there from a company called Credit Protection Association. After looking over some information I saw that the number posted on my report was just an automated number. When keep researching the report I found another number under the inquiry section of the report. After calling that and finally getting a real person he informed me that another company was sold the collection I called them and they had no recollection about the account. Therefore I called Time Warner personally and they said my account is in good standing. So then after all that I disputed it on my credit report and today I just received an update saying that the account is valid. I do have an old receipt stating that the account is paid in full. I need some help if any that this agency can give me.
