verizon wireless and the lg chocolate phone
|
verizon wireless and the lg chocolate phone I give the lg chocolate phone a very poor rating. After 3 months of having the phone the phones screen went blue and completely froze. I returned the phone to verizon and the staff at the verizon store seemed to be very familiar with this problem and replaced my phone. 3 months later while on my way to vacation my new chocolate phones screen turned blue and it completely froze. There i was stuck with no phone, no contacts, nothing. Now I am fed up with the phone and i just no longer want it at all. I inform verizon of this and I got no support. They acted as if i was the only person who's ever had the problem when clearly in the verizon store the staff was well aware of this problem. My customer service reps reply was well I have a chocolate and my phone has never did this. Instead of granting my wish of a refund and a different model lg phone my rep stated all he could do was send me another chocolate phone to malfunction again no telling when, or for me to purchase a new phone and sign another 2 year extended contract. I am very unsatisfied with verizon and lg after being a customer of over 4 years.

How many products do you know have a warenty that cover your miss use? After leaving it in the car over night, the damn thing wouldn't turn on. Take it to that store and they said.... you guessed it... WATER DAMAGE. Now they want to charge me $400 to get out of the contract that was made invalid buy the fact that I was not allowed to read the warrantee for the phone before purchasing it. The store was of no help of course, everything has to be handled over the phone. The screen would turn on and off, and the verizon wireless logo would come on and off. It was very irritating. However, the employees claim that it suffered water damage. WHAT WATER DAMAGE? It made no sense, but I just switched to an old verizon phone. I'll have to wait for another year to get it replaced and go to cingular.
