one to add for Thai airways

This is a copy of an email I have sent to Thai airways as a result of their lack of customer service.

Please read on.

There are 5 areas of complaint i would like to highlight.
1. Inflight Caterring.
I chose the seafood special. I found this meal to be extremely bland. It mainly consisted of either 2 prawns or a very small piece of fish. This was offered with a vegetable namely potato and 2 stalks of asparagus. There was no sauce or seasoning of any kind. The difference between break fast and dinner was 2 prawns to 1 small piece of fish. HOW UNIMAGINATIVE! On the return trip I refused the meal and ask for a normal one. Which really didnt seem all that much better. The egg roll could have been made of foam rubber as there was zero taste. I really cannot recall any bacon being in there and the mushrooms didnt taste all that fresh either.
2. customer service
Overall I found the staff to be very limited in their engagement and conversations with passengers. When orderring drinks for example (through discussions with fellow passengers) I realised that it was best to order 2 drinks at a time as often there was a big delay between attendance. Upon ordering these refreshments I would say quite loudly (as I have learned that the attendendants will choose to ignore you otherwise)...coke and a water please. the attendent returned with just the water. and took off within a blink of an eye. I had to shout and feel like a 2nd class citizen could I please have my coke? No appology nothing just got it and passed it to me. Very unfriendly. Flight TG0921 Date 27th June 07.
On my not so frequent travels to the W/C the seat belt sign appeared. I chose to keep going and hope it would be ok. the attendents were up walking around and chatting behind the curtain at the back of the air craft. I think the head of the attendents saw me comming and said "get back to your seat, get back to your seat, cant you see the light is on!" I was a bit embarraced and caught in such a situation it is hard to choose what is the right thing to do. I did not engage in conversation instead I said nothing and just smiled. I then heard him say, "well I'm not going to pick you up off the floor if you fall!" I heard the female attendents snigger as I closed the door to the W/C. I found on this leg of the trip the attendents were not forth comming with drinks at all. Instead they chose to pour drinks and leave on trays located in the attendents food preperation areas. We as passengers did not receive any notice over the PA system. It was by luck that I saw them and rudely (I felt) helped myself to them along with a few other passengers. What concerns me about this is that many of the passengers would have been unaware that these refreshments were available. Flight TG920 30May 07
3. While waiting in Gatelounge post passing through security bagage check and boarding pass staff I happened to capture on my camera a man in possession of a full bottle of drinking water which he openly displayed for all to see. He was to board my flight. None of your Thai staff who were in attendence at the time bothered to address the situation and this man proceeded to board the air craft. The container would have been approximately 600mls. Far in excess of what is allowed. I have kept the photos for resorce and if you require them please let me know. They show him to one side of the bording gate. Located right beside Thai staff serving other customers. Very disgracefull and very stressfull. Flight TG0921 Date 27th June 07.
4 the longest part of trip was the long haul of 12 hours from bankok to frankfurt and return a month later. on this leg we had the oldest aircraft in the fleet the 747 big tops. I found the inflight entertainment extremely boring. We got one movie which wasnt too bad. It of course had to be appealing to all passengers as on this leg we had no TV screens in the back of the seats facilitating the opportunity to change to what our tastes maybe like. AAfter this movie the only other things were a subtitled indian movie but I couldnt see many indians on the plane. Then some discovery channel program that showed a lot of flying over mountains and things which with the all too moving and thrusting of the aircraft we were on it was enough to make all passengers sick. there was no foot rests for passengers and it felt that there was a significant lack of leg room as if these seats were closer together.
5. this website is difficult to use and i am currently typing in a very small space. along with the multiple complaints yet i have only one selection to choose. so ive chosen my first complaint. i hope that the caterring department doesnt just get this complaint because they wont have a clue what to do with the rest of the complaints. the flight numbers are also difficult as it only allows one flight number but when you have multiple legs of the journey you need more room. What I will do is save this email so I can keep it because I bet I will get a computer generated email proformered in response to this and that will be all I hear. well have a nice day. if you would like me to teach your staff on good customer service please let me know as I am a lot better than your staff. have a nice day.
6 I just clicked on submit and it tells me its too long.
well we can get around this.

C.
