Bytespeed Computers This is a word of warning from a person who has had nothing but problems = with the computer purchased from Bytespeed. This computer is a piece of = shit. It freezes constantly. There is no sound card or driver = installed. I have sent the computer back to bytespeed, and this is = still not fixed. I cannot afford to keep sending it back to them. They = ignore my e-mails for requests to either get another computer or fix = this one. They pretend they do not read the e-mails, I guess. They = should change the name from Bytespeed to "Bite Me", because basically = that's what they are telling consumers. Beware of Bytespeed! Bytespeed will work with you until your problem is resolved, and we stand behind our 5 year warranty. Also, we pay for shipping both ways, all the time. The 1 computer that didn't power up needed the RAM re-inserted as it came loose in shipping. We are so thrilled with our deployment of ByteSpeed's that we're going to make them our Standard and buy from them again next year. regarding the original complaint or "word of warning" about the over heating, you may want to contact them again as your problem is probably user related. And why can't you afford to ship it back to them after all they pay shipping both ways on all warranties. For anyone reading this be sure to get a second opinion or call ByteSpeed directly 877-553-0777 and ask about their policies. I'm sure they'll be more than happy to send some references.
