I bought the Frigidaire Gallery series slightly over 3 years =

ago--washer, dryer, stove and refrigerator. What was I thinking? My =

stove broke down after 3 years, and the above company from which I =

bought it wants over $300 to repair it. Replacing it would cost me over =

$1000.00. =20

This stinks. A stove should last for at least 7-10 years, I would =

think. And I think the repair cost is too much. I kept getting a F7 =

reading and the burners would stop. The repairman came over and =

couldn't figure out what was wrong. He came back (after consulting with =

more repairmen I guess) and said that the steam from my hot sauce (when =

making baked chicken wings) spilled into the back of the stove and =

CORRODED some elements, including the metal. Why did the steam escape =

in the first place?? I tried to contact Frigidaire 3 times--but they =

never even bothered to respond to my emails. The washer and dryer are =

awful too. The only one of the appliances that works well is the =

refrigerator. I will never buy another appliance from Frigidaire.
