Quick Click Loans LLC Complaint

Quick Click Loans LLC Complaint I have a loan with Quick Click Loans in Alpharetta GA, for $1500 with a 96% interest rate. Last week I called to have the AFT payments on my account stopped, and was told to fax a signed letter informing them of that fact, which I did. I was then told me request had been processed and the AFT payments stopped. My loan payment was due on 7/1/07. I called (no answer) and emailed for a payoff amount on July 3rd. I received a response to either send the payoff amount by Western Union transfer or cashier's check. I tried the transfer and it was refused. I sent a cashier's check on Tuesday by certified return receipt, which got to the post office on July 6th. On the same day, I received a certified letter telling me that my "refusal to pay" left them no choice but to take legal action if I do not pay within 5 days. I called the manager and legal counsel (Elizabeth at 678-823-4699), and she told me that a certified letter was not proof, despite that when I track it online, it says that notice was left in the P.O. Box. She told me that she was "just there" at the post office and there was no notice of my check (at 2:30pm, when the check arrived at 6:04am) She also informed me at that time that interest accrues DAILY and that they have no grace period. She is refusing to go to the post office or call them to find out if the check is there. I called the post office in Alpharetta and they said there was nothing they could do except put another note in the P.O. box since signature is required to receive the check. This company makes it impossible for people to pay off their loans. I have contacted WBZ Call to Action in Boston, and have also emailed Hank Phllipe Ryan, a reporter in Boston who deals with consumer issues. I don't know if either will help, but I hope so. I strongly discourage anyone from dealing with Quick Click. Cash Call, also a payday loan company, despite that the interest rate was 96% also, made it extremely easy to pay off the loan, over the phone, with no hassle. So I recommend Cash Call if you are in a pinch. If there is anyone by any chance out there willing to help or provide advice, please contact me. I know what you had to go through. I to have a loan with QuickClickLoans and trying to get a payoff is impossible. When I called them for a payoff amount that would be due on the 27th but now my check is just sitting there in that damn P.O Box they have. And the lady I spoke with tells me that they only check the mail box once or twice a week, so of course when they do open and cash my check it’s no longer the payoff since three days will pass and the finance charge will be added on to the loan. My case is still pending with my bank, who issued the payoff check, but I came across this website and read your complaint, im sure it has been resolved and my question is to you: what happened with your situation? Did Quickclick finally payoff your loan the date the check was received?
