Voip.com, make a call Voip.com, Make a call feature for international calls This company is such a JOKE111!! I was first told about trying this = voip.com for internet international calls, supposedly giving better = sound quality, better pricing for international calls. I first decided = to try their system with the "try it for free" option, it worked fine, = indeed sound quality was very good, connection was almost immediate, = cost per minute was better than what I had used before, even Skype and = destination-specific calling cards. So I decided to buy more credit. = From that moment on, it started being very sketchy. Every single time I = would try to make a call, it will not go through but since it connects = you as soon as you pick up your phone, minutes and cents are used up and = keep being used up despite the fact that it never actually connected you = to the intended call! Out of $15 the first time, only by calling my cell = and asking me to wait while they try to connect me, I spent maybe $7 = without ever being connected.=20 I decided after my first credit was used up to give them another chance = since buying calling cards is not exactly convenient for me, and hoping = that it was just a temporary glitch. So I bought another $10. Again, out = of these $10, $6 went up in used up minutes, this time not only by not = connecting you at all, but out of 3 tries, 2 times it will connect you = to an operator who cannot hear you and then will just disconnect you. = Only with that, money has been used up. I've tried to contact them online through their support tickets, = explaining my problem and trying to find out what is wrong with their = system. They would take 1 week to reply, then give you generalities, no = answer, no desire to fix the problem and keep you as a customer, no = service at all. After that, I tried calling their toll free number, = waited 10 mns to finally be connected to a machine trying to sell me = their devices and plans, when I just wanted to talk to someone about my" = make a call" account and get them to do something about it.=20 Lately I emailed again, still have no response. So I finally asked them = to refund my balance, knowing that given their absolute lack of = consideration for the client, they will never even remotely think of = reimbursing the used up minutes for nothing. Now I'm waiting to see what = they will do which is probably nothing. To whomever reads these complaints, is there a way to just do something = about this company and that may be harsh but this company has not = business being in business. All it does it provide AN ABSOLUTE POOR = PRODUCT AND EVEN POORER SERVICE AND CHEAT CUSTOMERS OUT OF THEIR MONEY. = THIS SEEMS TO BE CLOSE TO SCAMMING PEOPLE, TRICKING THEM INTO PURCHASING = A PRODUCT THEY KNOW IS OF POOR QUALITY, AND WASHING THEIR HANDS OFF = PROBLEMS REPORTED TO THEM AND DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO RESOLVE = ISSUES.
