Qwest cell phone service

Qwest cell phone service Qwest cell phone service, St. Paul, MN. Tried to port cell phone number from Cingular to Qwest. Started process Tues eve. Called each day Wed, Thurs, Fri reporting number not in service. Each time, told problem would be fixed in 1-2 hours. Once promised return call that Qwest never placed. Technical support number listed under customer service tab on web site is only M-F. I got a number from Sprint rep in order to contact Qwest on Sat when phone service was still not working. Again promised return call that wasn't made. Service finally made to work Sat eve. I asked for 1 month credit after all this. Qwest representative agreed only to credit 4 days to account covering time it took them to port number. No explanation or acknowledgement of poor service. Because of extended service length contracts, they have no accountability to customers. I would strongly discourage people from transferring to Qwest based on this history, or if they choose to do so, to expect problems to occur with very poor support from Qwest. Yes there was some extremly poor customer service there but i just want to point out that if the other company will not give us the number in a timely fashion there is nothing we can do short of filling a lawsuit that the paperwork alone just to file with the fcc is the size of a room. Oh and the month free thing i take these sup calls please dont ask for that it makes us mess with your promos and our computers confuse easily. So if you demand a month free then you risk lots of billing issues. easiest thing to get is a 20 credit.
