On 7/10/07 I went to this showroom to purchase a new set of mattress/box =

spring. I dealt with the salesman Ron there. He was very polite and =

professional, and after trying multiple mattresses, I made my selection =

and paid for it in full. Let me also state that I have a very bad back, =

and never take the purchase of a mattress lightly. This is something =

that is well thought out and done very carefully. I was given an =

invoice and receipt for my credit card charge. This was a tuesday, I =

was hoping to get delivery that day. Ron informed me that deliveries =

were made to Uniontown on Wednesdays between 9-1:00. I said this would =

be fine and made arrangements with my employer to work a later shift to =

compensate for the delivery time. On the day of delivery, my product did =

not arrive until 2:40. This caused me to miss an entire day of work =

which did not please my employer. Once the mattress was set up, I =

realized very quickly that it was not the same item I tested at the =

showroom. This mattress was so hard that I awoke the following morning =

with a migrane headache, my back and body hurting bad enough that I had =

to take a muscle relaxer in order to be functional. I contacted Ron at =

the store where I purchased the items and was informed that someone from =

the main office would call me. Four days later I was called during a =

doctors appointment and told that the company has a no refund no return =

policy. This policy is not stated anywhere in the store, on their =

paperwork or by the sales rep at time of purchase. At this time I have =

filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Pennsylvania. =

Should this fail to be effective, I am fully prepared to hire an =

attorney to stop these people from doing this to anyone else

I also bought a matress from Matress Discounters. This was a Latex and was touted as a 30 year matress. In fact, it didn't last a year before it sagged so badly it was un-usable. Reply from store and Sealy? Too bad, it isn't the product, its a matter of taste. I reccomend people steer clear of Matress Discounters and Sealy. Their "guarantee" isn't worth the paper it is written on.
