Charter Communications/ High Speed Cable Internet Service I live in Rancho Cucamonga, California. In my home area for some reason we can't have any other internet services except Charter's Cable service. Prior to two years ago, I paid $30/m for basic service. When everyone was paying less and less, my internet fee went up. Our monthly bill is over $40 when I hear on radio every day offers for $20 or evey $15! My company only a few blocks away uses Linkline DSL service. And we pay only $30/m for much faster internet in there. How about the services? Horrible! What prompted me to write this complaint is 20 minutes ago, I had a down time. I called in and I was put on hold for nearly 45 minutes! The internet connection interrupts all the time. Sometimes a few times a day. I called in and a couple of technicians came in a few months ago. He pulled out a connecting in my wall. Said that was a bad one, and he fixed the problem by replacing that connector. I looked at the two parts, found they were only metal connectors, had doubt that replacing that would fix any problem at all. He said:"yes, it will". He was treating me like a fool. No improvement occurred. Since then, I sear not to request any technicians to come. I even try not to call. Since we don't have other choices, I am stuck with such an ass company. Sometimes I wonder, why people don't sue this piece of thing. I have never had services of any kind from a major company like this.
