To whom it may concern:

 

My name is Joseph D. Chavez and I recently had the misfortune of doing business with a "Cindy" who is supposed to be a Store Manager for your company. I have 2 recordings of Cindy in which she was disrespectful, abusive, slanderish and rude. I visited your web site of July 16, 2007 and gladly filled out the on line application for approval. I was then contacted on my cell on July 18, 2007 by Juan. I went into the store on July 18, 2007 and spoke to Juan. Juan assisted me in my application process at the store. He asked that I give him 2 blood relatives. I did. I was sitting at a table near the sales office waiting for Juan to tell him what I selected. I was approached by Cindy. She told me that she needs 2 more relatives. I politely explained that my mother and brother that I put on the application were my only family I have left. She mocked me and said "What? You don't have one uncle or aunt?" I told her no. In all honesty, at that point she rolled her eyes at me. No

joke, she did. I was in there with a friend named John Brock who will attest to this as well. She walked away and Juan came back. I asked Juan what is her deal. Juan responded "Oh, she is always like that." That is a direct quote from him. He then said "Come back when you get off work when she isn't here and we will get it done." I came back on Friday, the 20th. I picked out a sofa and loveseat set. I filled the required info on the application at the store and gave Juan $130.00. He told me that delivery will be Tuesday, July 24th. He said he was going to fax an Apartment and Work verification sheet. I signed off on those approvals as well giving them permission to do it. On Monday I called Juan to ask if everything was a "GO". He said "yes". Delivery was set for the next day. I called on Tuesday and asked for Juan. The hold took almost 2 minutes and then Cindy came on. I asked her when my delivery window was. At this point I heard a little distaste in her voice for me. I

started recording the conversation. In this recording in which I will GLADLY play so you can hear the venom in her words. No one should be spoke to in that manner, espicially a CUSTOMER. A customer who on good faith has ALREADY paid them. I hung up the call very upset. I got myself together and called back in 10 minutes. Cindy answered the line and I again recorded the conversation. Upon answering the phone I told her that I was apoligizing and she immediately started to verbally abuse me. She went as far as hanging up on me. This HAS to be taken care of on your company's part. I can not be the only one because according to your other employee she is "always like that". I do want a formal response from the company. I want Cindy to be demoted and or terminated. I am determined to have these demands fullfilled. I have the name of EVERY Board of Directors, Executive Officers, Corporate Officers. I found and printed off this link.

I am NOT going to stop my protest with the Brass. i will go further and file compaints with the A.G. of Texas, local Chamber of Commerce, BBB, Google, Yahoo. There will be no end until I am satisfied. All I want is the Sofa and Loveseat that I have made my down payment for delived to my apartment TODAY as scheduled. Can I get that done, please?
