2002 Dodge Caravan Sport Rust

I live in Waterloo and own a 2002 Chrysler Mini Van - Yesterday when I went

to grab the front edge of the hood to open it a large piece @ 2" by 3"

crumbled in my hand. It had been bubbling a for a few months along the front

fright edge (@ 12 inches and up the right side towards the windshield @

18"). The rest of the van is fine.

Is there any hope for compensation?
