Charter Communications stinks Two and a half years ago, my wife and I established a cable account for my mother-in-law, who is elderly and lives three hours away. A few days ago we had to move my mother-in-law into a new residence because she can no longer take care of herself. It was very easy to cancel her phone and utilities at the old residence. However, it has been an utter nightmare to try to cancel her Charter Communications account despite the fact that our name and address had been used for billing purposes. This company has no idea as to what customer service is all about. We will never again do business with them and urge others to think twice before establishing an account with Charter.
