Bad Service SPIRIT Airlines

Bad Service SPIRIT Airlines my flight, Spirit Airlines in the Fort Lauderdale Airport 1-800-772-7117 (spiritair.com). I am very angry and shocked that this company is getting away with all I am about to tell you. On July 17th my two boys (age 1 and 6) arrive 1hour early to fly on the 7:45 flight to Boston. We wait outside in a line to be told that the check in is cut off outside and we have to check inside now.Well, this isn't easy for me, because I am pregnant and have 2 small children, two check in bags, two carry on bags and two car seats. So, I asked the curbside checking attendent if he could help me bring them inside for me.He said,"If you take care of me gooood, I can make sure you get on your plane." I told him I had $10 on me.He proceeded to take my bags and a few short feet away left them by a wall and said to wait in line. In the line at 7:05 and it's barely moving with only 4 counter people working. At 7:25-I stll have about 25 people infront of me, so I told the manager William my flight was leaving in 20 min. and he said they already closed the gate,so I continued to wait in line another 40 min. and finally got to the counter and they said I would have to pay $250. for being late. I explained to them that I was not late and the people on both sides of the counter were waiting with me and the supervisor William just rebooked one guy who was waiting with me(John Guerrier) and I would like the same. The booking agent ALEJANDRA SARITA # 60206 was very rude and unprofessional! She said that I had to wait for the supervisor to be able to rebook for the next day. After waiting another 2 1/2 hours standing (no seats anywhere to sit on and the AC was broken , with just one fan working) I was fuming!! I asked her after about an hour who exactly it was that i was waiting for she said she coulding give me a name. I told her i wanted all the supervisors names that were on and she said no. I wanted to know because while I'm standing there a couple of supervisors passed me ( I read there tag real quick) Darlene and William and i just wanted to get their attention, because she obviously wasn't! My feet were so swallen and i was so fustrated i started yelling and had security go in the back to get William out of hiding. There were about 10 others waiting with me at this point in the same perdicament. William finally agreed to rebook for the 18th and apologized. The Next morning my 1 1/2 year old is very sick. I took him to the doctor for an emergency visit. The doctor diagnosed him with Laringitis/crupe and wrote a doc note to the airlines instructing me not to fly with Gianni. I called ALL DAY the airlines and there wasn't any way to get through, so i went to the airport an hour before, waited in the long lines and finally get to the booking agent (who was very nice) and she got the supervisor over who said i'd have topay the $70 per ticket plus the difference in fair to rebook for the following day. I said no i wasn't going to pay this and the booking agent slipped and said the flight was full anyways, so I said to her I am still on time what would you do if i said i wanted to travel? You over booked so change my flight for tomorrow the 19th, she said she couldn't fly me out until the 21st (Sat-3 days away)!! I told her no way I have very important business on Friday and I had to be back no later than Friday- to either send me on another airline or reimburse me my money. She said she had to get her supervisors authorization (Orlando and/or Lordes) and she disappearred for 3 hours and i was so fustrated and felt so helpless- i just left.I saw her do this with others there too. I had to purchase 2 last minute tickets on another airlines and pay double. I have not received my money back from Spirit!!! _________________________________________________________________ Need personalized email and website? Look no further.
