Re Unwarranted late fees and charges.

 

This is probably just one more letter complaining about unwarranted charges

by Chase.

I recently opened an account, and the first statement received (2 months

late I must add) already had fees and penalties added.

Chase has a policy to reverse only one late fee, no matter what the

situation is.

I paid all legitimate charges and took issue with the other unwarranted late

fees and penalties, to no avail! We may have to go to court, and my credit

may suffer (so they threatened), but I will not cave in to their blackmail.

 

One is apparently totally helpless with Chase, and I would encourage some

kind of consumer action to get their attention, and some more flexibility.

I have canceled the card with the dispute, and will cancel all my other

Chase cards as soon as the automated payment on them can be shifted elsewhere (a

real bother, but it will be done), but I realize this is just a token

expression of my anger.

I am encouraging others to do the same and to write to Chase to tell them

why you are doing it.

How many others are tired to be abused by the big credit card companies?

So, I wonder if we can organize a mass revolt against Chase.

Any other aggrieved customer who would like to help me? Cancel your cards.

Write to Chase to tell them why you are doing it. Get your friends to do the

same.
