Yahoo Billpay

I have been charged $4.95 monthly since September 10, 2005. I have never used Bill Pay and IF I ever signed up for it for some unconscious reason, it would have to have happened in my sleep. They somehow got my SS number too, I found out today (from their collections dept) and the account shows absolutely NO activity EVER OF ANY KIND FROM THE BEGINNING. I have never EVER had any money automatically taken out of my bank account BECAUSE I DO NOT HAVE ANY LOANS OR OWE ANYBODY MONEY, INCLUDING MY HOUSE. I have spent the last 5 business days calling a miriad of numbers given to me AND to my bank about this and we have been given the run around every time. I have put a stop on my account in regards to sending this monthly amount to them. My bank is going to refund me as much as they are allowed, and I fully expect Yahoo Billpay to give me back the rest.

The worst of all this is that Yahoo feels they are SO much above the rest of the world they refuse to have phone numbers for people to call; that way they can send you to websites with vague directions/directories on them that send you to another site and ask you to sign up for something again.

I am furious about having nearly $180 taken out of my account (I'm on disability) since 9-05 and not being able to get in contact with anyone at Yahoo or Billpay other than someone to get me to pay more money. Checkfree looked in their computer and said there is no record of me - DUH! The collections dept at Billpay (or whatever) found me in there but said there has been no activity every. DUH AGAIN!

That is my complaint, for all the good it will do me. I get $732 month for my disability and I'm a senior. $180 is mearly the price of the big shot's martini lunches, but it is about 3 weeks of food for us!
