AT&T - DSL and Wireless
|
AT&T - DSL and Wireless Residential=20 DSL =AD moved to my new home in April of 2007 and ordered DSL service through AT&T =AD it is now July 2007 and am still waiting for service that I can actually use. At this point - I think my order has been placed 4 or 5 times =AD and I suspect that each time an order is placed a commission is generated because they are always happy to place a new order for me. I am sure the people I actually get to talk to at AT&T are so under-paid that it's no wonder this has been going on and I am pretty sure there is virtually no quality contro= l going on at the company which is why it has gone on for as long as it has. This time =AD they are finally shipping me a modem with set-up instructions =AD so =AD we=B9ll see. Wireless - I have a 2 year contract and have been using a Motorola Razr as my cell phone. I started having problems with the phone itself =AD i.e. erro= r messages, won't charge, won't start up, etc. - just after 1 year (warranty expired =AD but of course) - and I was told by AT&T that I will have to pay full price for a cell phone from them or $175 to cancel my contract.
