Poor Whirlpool Appliances from Parts World Ltd. To Whom it may concern We bought a Whirlpool brand single-door frost-free freezer in 2004. (Model: EV201NXMQ02 L1, SERIAL: EWR1765629 - Made in USA). We have been having problems with this freezer since we brought it. It routinely defrosts and takes so long to refreeze that all our frozen meat etc. becomes soft and al= l the ice melts. It never freezes ice cream. We brought this freezer from Parts World Ltd. in Trinidad, West Indies. We asked them for a replacement within a couple of months of purchase. They have sent technicians numerous times. They have even taken the freezer into their workshop. We finally met the owners of Parts World a couple of months ago after dealing with their service department for over 3 years. Even Felipe Soler, Technical and Quality Manager Customer Care , Miami Florida visited my home on two occasions to investigate. We also showed him a problem with the Whirlpool gas stove that we bought at the same time as the freezer where th= e shelves collapse when the oven is in operation. After finally meeting with the Parts World Ltd. owners, Brendan and Ryan Garcia in January 2007, they agreed to call Felipe to be given the go ahead to make an exchange. I keep calling to find out the latest and keep getting the runaround. My wife and I have left several messages and they never return our calls. This is the treatment we get for a solution that should have been effected within the warranty period. I have been very patient and at this stage absolutely regret buying the Whirlpool Freezer and Stove. There is even a recurring problem with the "all fridge" that we bought at the same time. Every six months water overflows because of a clogged drain hose. We have to call in a technician every time to unclog the hose.I've lived in Canada and worked for Texaco and Chevron in the Caribbean for 10 years and I know good customer service. What I have experienced is not good customer service.Please assist in resolving this situation as soon as possible. We again complained to Parts World and a couple of weeks ago their representative, Darryl Lewis, said he would solve the problem by February 13, 2007. No such luck!!!
