citibank cards

I bring this to the notice of all customers and credit card holders of

Citibank and also other bank cards as they may also have the same

UNPUBLISHED policy.

Recently one of my cheques for Citibank was returned by my bank for some

reason. Of course that was no issue. But after that whenever I issued a

cheque even before the due date, the bank started collecting late

payment charges. When I questioned this they said that under normal

circumstances they would credit the cheque immediately but when a cheque

was returned, for the next six months they would credit the amount only

after the funds have been realized. This point they never mentioned in

any of their brochures or the statements. Isn
