In July 2006 we signed up to get Direct TV and was told there was a =

30 day guarantee. Our problems started at install, they sent the =

installer to the wrong address, they failed to inform us it was free =

install, but we would have to pay for any supplies needed to complete =

the install. We went with 4 rooms but only 3 receivers, at no point =

were we told it would be a $50 piece in order for us to use the 4th TV =

and then no one could tell us how to hook it up or use it. In our 1st =

month we lost service on average of 1x/week. One of our remotes died =

within the 1st month and we had them send us out a new one we were =

charged for it. We waited for our 1st bill to cancel the service and we =

never received a bill, when we did receive a bill it was a "Late Notice" =

bill, which we paid and then cancelled the service because nothing about =

it was good, Customer Service and Tech support were no exception. We =

have been contesting the bill for early termination since last November =

with no resolve.
