Oxford Vision Center - Incompetence and Rudeness

Last week my son went to Walmart Vision Center in Oxford, MS to order

contacts. He was told to have his prescription faxed to them from his

ophthalmologist. He did that, so today I went to inquire about them. I

waited patiently while Latasha helped other customers. I saw two other

customers waiting besides the one she was currently helping. Finally when

it was my turn I told her why I was there and she looked at a sheet of paper

and told me she had to look into it further. She then proceeded to wait on

two other customers before returning to me. Latasha told me they had not

received the prescription. I was about to call his ophthalmologist's office

while she was looking through a file. She found the prescription which had

already been faxed in the file. Then she left me standing there not knowing

what was happening while she started waiting on another customer (this

customer told me while she was in line behind me that Latasha was her "best

friend")! I asked Latasha if she could please help me since I had been

waiting a long time. Both she and her best friend tried to tell me that she

was there before me. Well, I know she wasn't. When I complained to the

assistant manager the friend interrupted and yelled at me, but did admit she

had been there, left and came back after I arrived. Not only was I kept

waiting (and I don't mind waiting my turn), but I was also treated with

complete and utter disrespect and rudeness!

Was this at Walmart or the actual vision center where you get your eyes checked?? They are separate companies and have no relation to each other than being in the same building.
