I paid $2,495 on 6/13/06 to join Table for Six – an organization to help singles connect. I specifically asked and was told that women only slightly outnumbered the men in membership but more men were joining all the time. Between June and September, I was invited to (and attended) four dining experiences. It was nearly always the same group of men but I met new women at every dinner. Discussion with other members revealed that women received invitations every 3-4 weeks while men received invitations 1-2 times a week. This clearly indicates the ratio of women to men was at least 3:1 and that “slightly outnumbers” was a great exaggeration and misrepresentation in order to get my membership. The contract I signed stipulated that refunds would be allowed after a $1,350 processing fee was deducted and members attended 5 one-on-one dates @ $50 each, and attended 15 dinners @ $20 each (which I attended four). I stopped attending dinners in September 2006. On 3/26/07, I mailed a l

etter to Table for Six requesting a refund of $595. From my membership fee, I graciously deducted the processing fee and payment for the required number of dinners/dates, even though I attended only 4 of the 15 dinners required and none of the one-on-one dates required. I did not receive a response to my letter. I called Table for Six on 4/27/07. They said they had not received my letter so I faxed a copy to them. On 4/30/07 I received an e-mail from them stating “Our Regional Manager said we can’t release a refund unless you have attended the appropriate amounts of dinners/events”. I find this ridiculous as I was willing to pay for the required number of dinners/events that I did not attend and was only asking for a fraction of the exorbitant fee I paid.

I don’t understand how people can say this company is a complete fraud. Maybe I can understand that sometimes life throws you a curve ball which might cause you to strike out, but turning the whole game into a failure because of that one strike out is just stupid. I feel like all these people who say the worst things imaginable about this company just had a bad luck situation. It’s not ok that one bad experience should even give someone the thought of bad mouthing the whole company. I have nothing but good to say about them. My whole life changed for the better ever since I met my girlfriend through them and seeing all these bad reviews really bothers me. This company has an incredible success rate and has helped thousands of people in the past. Anyone who says that this service just rips you off and then laughs in your face, is pretty much in my definition not a very nice person at all. I think the mature thing to do is just take the loss and accept the fact that life isn’t perfect. My girlfriend and I are extremely happy and thankful for everything this company has done for us. The way they matched us up and the way they organized the best dates for us was beautiful. They are the most professional matchmaking service in the world. Nothing anyone can say will make me feel different. So, for any of you out there who need advice on this company, stay patient and positive and you’ll see incredible results.

After hearing my brother’s story of how he met his girlfriend I decided I needed to join also. A week after I joined, I was set up with a few different girls and had some really good times. I have not met my soul mate yet but I’m not in a rush and I want to be a part of more events they have to offer. I especially like the activity events they have like biking and rafting. I am an outdoor person with a desk job at work so I do not really get a chance to be in nature. Since I became a member, I’ve done awesome activities and made a lot of new friends. I guess what I am trying to say is that when I am ready to find my life partner, I know I am in good hands.

All you people who say this is a scam are LIARS!!!!!!!!!!!! You people had trouble with this service. I can’t imagine how or why that is only because I have had the experience of my life with them. I have seen firsthand how well they organize things, how well they match people up with each other, and how well they do their jobs in terms of contacting you on time and how honest they are. I didn’t marry the first guy that I was set up with. However, I did eventually marry one of them. I didn’t expect things to change overnight which made me more patient in the company than all the people that slander them were. It took some time and I had some disappointments but in the end, they came through. Like I said before, they always managed to organize things very well and always gave me the feeling that they actually cared the next day when my matchmaker would call for the feedback. Besides for the price, I’d say this service is top notch.

I am also a member here in San Francisco and there are true scammers!! I paid $2995! I have never been at a table that had a man come close to my profile! One of my T42 dates told me the men don't have to pay as there are more women than men. I could go on and on but instead I am going to file a suit!! I am currently working with an attorney. I am sending my 2 inches of documentation to every news station here in San Francisco as well as our Attorney General! They need to stop making millions off of us singles and feeding off of us just wanting to meet a decent man (or woman if you are a man) and have a nice life together! I have met better quality in bars!! Come on join me in the fight!! We can win in numbers!
