Frigidaire Room Air Conditioner Model FAC125P1A1

We bought a Frigidaire Room Air Conditioner Model FAC125P1A1 in August,

2005, and used it for the rest of that year and 2006. When we hooked it up

in June of 2007, we discovered that the condenser coil was broken, so it

didn't cool the air. Since it was still under warranty, we brought it in

for repair, but we were told that the part is no longer available and the

best we could get would be a 50% rebate on a new air conditioner. So we

paid full price for an air conditioner that lasted less than two years, and

now they want us to pay half price for a new one??

We've decided to pay full price for another brand, since it seems like a

waste of money to pay anything for a Frigidaire.
