Nextel cell phone company (acc# 224655925) I had two cell phone lines under my account; I used one line the other was used by a family member; the phone that was used by my family member was crush by a car so it was dispose into a dumpsters back in December 2006; after paying a couple of months at 59.00$ and no-one using the phone, I called customer service and my contract expired in October, so in March 2007 I told then than no one was using this phone since and I wanted to cancel it in October but I din\'t want to pay 59.00$ a months still; so they said no problem we will changed it to the minimum which is 29.99$ a months and you will be able to cancel it in October without any cancellation fee; well I don't want to pay the disconnection fee of 200.00 dollars at that time.. In the June 2007 bill I noticed a 400.00$ phone usage of the non-use phone that I have not used since December 2006; so I called customer service to tell them; and they transfer me to a couple of people had to tell the story a bunch of times; they finally said that on the May bill there was also some usage on this phone of 12.00$ which I din\'t notice because the bill was around what it comes every month; so basically they said that I should of called before and I\'m liable for all charges.. so at that time I told then ok. so I want the phone to have no line and when October comes to be disconnected; so they said that the contract din\'t expired in October but in March 2008 because every time I changed something the contract will extent itself for another year.. so I wasn\'t going to pay 29.99 a month for an additional 10 months.; so I finally cancel the phone for an additional charge of 200.00$; they didn't want to hear any excuses basically everything was my fault; I try to explain that the last customer service I spoken to told me that my phone would be allow to be disconnected in October without disconnection fee but they din\'t want to hear it; they transfer me back and forward to other people.. and everyone else said that I need to speak to another department. no-one wanted to help me.. 400.00$ extra payment bill 200.00$ disconnection fee Jose Luyo 203 Keith av.
