This is a terrible company. I would say stay away! Very shady. The

technician came out when I specifically told them I would need freon and then I would

want an estimate. The girl apparently did not write down a service call,

unless the supervisor lied to me. She wrote a free estimate.

When the guy came he said he'd knock off $50 from the price of freon if I

made it out to cash. I didn't know if he was ripping them off or just didn't

want to report to the government. All I know is it seemed like a legitimate

company when I saw his truck with logo and his tools he was using. I watched him

for as long as I could. I had a disabled brother and young son to watch in

the house.

He had given me the written estimate and I noticed he didn't identify

himself by signing it either. After leaving my air was blowing warm upstairs! It

had been working before I came and when he left he had said "this freon should

get you through the summer at least." That's good I told him since getting

his estimate, I'd compare with someone else I knew in the air conditioning

business.

When I realized the next morning that not only did my air not blow cold, he

must have done something to break it!

I called their company to tell them about this and the girl said they'd send

a different tech to check it.

Hours later a woman claiming to be the supervisor called to ask why I wanted

someone to come out since I'd already had an estimate the day before. I said

because your guy broke my unit! She said, "we have no record of a service

call." Well, I told her that may because he insisted on cash in order to give

me the better price and he's probably ripping of the company! Then she tells

me there is nothing they can do for me, since I should have known better than

to give him a check made out to cash! I said, doesn't this guy represent your

company when he is sent to someone's home? She tried to imply that perhaps

he wasn't even their employee and asked if I saw the truck! I told her I did

and the girl I spoke to knew if was a repair and even told me I would incur a

$40 fee for this. I had told her that was fine. It is not my fault that she

wrote down a free estimate since it's obvious this is some collusion and

everyone seems to be making something here.

The stupid thing is that the guy left the cap off of my air as I noticed

later and he left the electrical box opened after he left! He was incompetent

enough to get himself caught because he didn't even give me what I had paid for!

I told her that this guy would be seeing me in court and she might pass this

along to him. She refused to tell him this, which showed me she was

unwilling to discipline anyone for some reason, which I suspect is theft!

Later, she must have realized that she was making herself look very guilty

as well after I had taken her name, the name of the technician and the owner's

name and told her she'd be hearing from me.

I tried to stop payment on the check but it had been cashed.

When she called back she told me that although earlier she'd stated both

this tech and the owner were out of town for the weekend, she had spoken to the

owner and he was furious about this! She said the owner was willing to "help

me out any way that he could." He had stated he wanted a copy of the check as

well and she told me he would contact me when he returned.

I thought, this is ridiculous since anyone can call from a cell phone and

how odd that she could contact him, yet a customer that happens to know about

theft in his own company, he doesn't call!

The next day, I was driving down the street on Saturday and I see their

truck driving by. I slow down and who do you think is driving? The tech that is

supposedly out of town! I beep at him and he smiles and waves. He clearly does

not recognize me. I call the office to be told that this supervisor is not

there until Monday.

Well, this seems to be a big scam and I believe she never talked to the

owner. She probably was going to have someone else call claiming to be the owner

and try to cover their tracks.

I will pursue this until I get restitution and find out who is involved! I

have pulled up this company and found numerous complaints about very similar

things.
