bell canada/sympatico- customers in danger of sexual assault!

My complaint is that there is a man (Wayne Gareau) who does home installations as a sub-contractor for bell sympatico (installs all your sattelite dishes) and I was raped by him while I was in my second trimester of pregnancy. We are in the early stages of our legal proceedings. He is a cocaine addict and has been to rehabilitation on 2 occasions this year alone. He has had this addiction for more than 24 years now. The police have issued a restraining order against Mr.Gareau. But assure me that they cannot find him. Bell has confirmed that he is still emplayed with them.

This man goes into peoples private homes! I informed Bell Sympatico and they called the contractor (Cablages Expert- because Bell contracts out their installation and repair services) who hired this man, they said they were going to fire him. I spoke to Eric Gariepy of Cablages Expert, as well as Chantal Ghadouri of Bell Canadas legal department. They asked me for all of the details (humiliating to explain a rape to bell representatives over and over again) and also for the police report id number to see if I was lying.I found out that he is still going into peoples homes! I asked if they could just change his position until the legal proceedings are over, they said "NO!" They told me directly that he could not be fired or moved position unless he is guilty of an actual crime. Does this mean that someone has to be raped again and then they will act? It takes many months to get through the legal system and Bell will risk customers well being and safety just to keep this one man? Does Bell Canada not owe us an ounce of safety when they send people to do an installation or repair?

Bell will no longer take my phone calls. This man is truly a danger to Bells customers. I dont understand whats going on here, isnt safety ALWAYS first? I even called Bells security division and got a huge run around from them as well as Bell canada siege social= head office!. they said they would get back in touch with me but nothing so far. This all happened last july 2006.

The contractor who hired this man is called "CABLAGE EXPERTS". Bells service and repair are done by unqualified, untrained, unschooled technicians. Bell said this man had only 2 weeks of training and had never been security checked to ensure safety to bells customers in their private homes. Somebody help!

This is how it works for bell to hire an installer: A man named Bruno Belisle got a contract from Bell sympatico and hires whom ever he pleases (to which no formal schooling or security check is required).

Bruno Belisle was awarded that contract by Les Cablages Experts. They all contract work from Bell, but because they are contractiors Bell Canada has no resposability for their actions. I have been working on this case for quite sometime and it may be at the point that the public needs to know they or their wives and daughters are at risk. Consider this: if there is one rapist, there could be more!
