Figi's Company WI

Figi's Company WI I ordered (as I have many times in the past) two items to be sent to family in Redlands, CA. from Figis,3200 S Maple Ave., Marshfield, WI 54449. Figis also sends 6 Free items with an order over a certain amount. This year (Dec. 2006) Figis sent the 6 free items to Redlands CA address and the two items (main order) back to me. I was alerted when I received a bill for the postage of the two items back to me in GA. I called and talked to a woman, who never did admit that the error was on their part. She suggested that I refuse the package when it came and to have it returned to Figis. Since it was food stuff she also said they could not use (accept ???) it. The items came to me on a Saturday via post office at 5:30 pm (my mail service is late). The Figis person also said they could not guarantee that the order would get to CA in time for Christmas. I mailed the items on to CA myself at a cost of $20.63. They got there in time for Christmas. I was also told they could refund my money. (I did nto get my hopes up about this.) I received a letter from Christ Letterman, Customer Relations Specialist, saying they would NOT return my money. Big surprise. But what I am upset about is NO APOLOGY. I will not be using this company again and will advise my family in CA not to use it (they have in the past). What you say is not unusual. The company itself is very small. They only employ maybe 50 people, mostly office workers. Over the holidays however, they hire 2-300 people just to take phone orders and do customer service. Training is a joke, and most people quit after a day or two. I needed the income and stuck around, got promoted to "Second Level Customer Service" You feel dirty working there though. The items are overpriced, and the quality is horrible. Our job was to make the company money, in whatever way necessary. My best advice: Try Swiss Colony. From what I hear, it is similar in its product line, but much higher quality and more reasonable prices.
