I bought an Alien Scooters from GS MotorWorks in April 2006 for $1,399. From the very beginning I had problems with the Scooter. The horn didn't work, the gas gauge didn't work. In June, at only 600 miles on the scooter, the back wheel locked up. It was discovered that a screw fell out on the gear box causing the gear oil to drain out.

The scooter was still under warranty when it stopped working; GS MotorWorks promised to send parts, for over 6 months I called every week and I have sent over 100 emails.

After contacting the BBB and the Attorney Generals Office, both of whom contacted GS MotorWorks, Candi Turner – Owner, said that she would send me a refund when the scooter was returned to GS Motorworks.

The scooter was returned to GS Motorworks on December 18, 2006. On December 31, GS Motorworks told me that the scooter was damaged when the shipping company dropped it off. Candi Turner said that two of her mechanics said the scooter was involved in a wreck, and because of that they will not refund my money.

The scooter was never wrecked, it stopped running when it was under the warranty; they are telling me that the state of the bike affects my refund and their policy is NO returns after they promised to send me a refund once they received the scooter. Candi Turner promised to send a refund once she got the scooter back; now she is telling me that she will not send the refund.

GS Motorworks said that once the scooter was returned they would process my refund, but they refuse to send me the refund. GS Motorworks not only has the scooter they also have my money, $1,399.

The scooter was returned on December 18, 2006 and I was promised a full refund in the amount of $1,399. I am seeking a refund in the amount of $1,399.
