returning a computer to Circuit City

Circuit City,Gastonia,North Carolina - we were not satisfied with a computer we had paid cash for. Paying cash was probably the first mistake. Didn't work after the 2nd day so we took it back. We were charged around two hundred dollars for a restocking fee. Someone told us that the problem was probably the router we were sold at the same time. That is alot of money to us and since it was returned in 3 days undamaged it seems unfair to charge so much for a restocking fee. Over the years we had bought alot of things there but that did it for us. We now shop at Office Max or Office Depot for similar items. Everyone we have told this to has been very surprised. The only information concerning a restocking fee is on the back of the receipt in tiny letters and of course you don't get that until you have paid for the item. We didn't see that until the very angry manager told us about it. We are near 60 years old and see a business like this as taking advantage of people.
