I moved into my new house in October, 2006. I have been trying to get SuddenLink to hook up my cable ever since. I have called 6 times and e-mailed them, each time being promised a return phone call or e-mail :within a day or two.” I have NEVER received any information from them. They keep telling me that my address is “unserviceable” by cable despite the fact that neighbors on three sides have cable. When the installer came to the house in September, he noted that the cable was across the road and would need to be “bored under the road”—a work order that should take 4 to 6 weeks. I have repeatedly asked to speak to someone else when I call customer service, as they only are able to read the service tag that says my house cannot have cable hooked up (though the first rep told me that cable had been at that address before. Interesting, since this is a new construction and I am the first owner.). I do not know where to go. I asked if there were a local office where I could call. I was told there was, but that “that number is not released to the public.” I thought it was bad when it was Charter! I do not know what else to do. Next week I will be calling the WV public Service Commission. Hopefully, they will be able to help. I called for fare checkup. The lady (i don't know that stupid's name). she put me on hold for 20 minutes. Then she disconnected the line. Then i called back she talked to me very rude without reason. She said The prices in January are very expensive, If u want the ticket give me the date immediately otherwise she doesn't have time to talk to people in the morning time. She was talking very rude without reason. I guess she had been having a big fight with her husband or in-laws or boyfriend in the morning. She wants to getrid off her frustration on customers. That is not nice for her any more... If she keeps continuing her behaviour like this .. one day she is going to loose all her teeth.
