Quicken 2007

I have used Quicken for over five years…and every year the ‘upgraded’

version gets worse and worse. With Quicken 2007, I think I’ve finally met

my limit!

When I installed the new version (Quicken 2007 Basic), and converted my data

to the 2007 ‘format’, I found that not only does this software not work ‘as

advertised’, but it also messed up several of my existing account data

files! It took me several hours just to get my account files back to where

they were before I installed Quicken 2007!

The ‘reports’ function in the 2007 version is a joke… I tried to print some

reports, and at first I thought the printed pages were blank. Then I

realized that there was actually something on the pages, but it was printed

in a ‘microscopic’ font! No, I’m not kidding. I took a magnifying glass

and could barely see the characters on the paper. When I went back to the

reports page in Quicken, I saw a ‘zoom’ function. When I clicked that

button, I could actually see the report on screen; however, when I tried to

print it, it still printed in the ‘microscopic’ font! Totally unusable…

I give up!! Microsoft Money…here I come!
