I am happy to see many other complaints about this company & see that I am not alone. I have been fighting with DFS over 6 months. The lies started with the salesperson and continued throughout the ordeal. I paid, the bill crossed in the mail, but Dell was too stupid to let go the $30 difference. That $30 increased to $300 & I finally gave in & paid it. I couldn't stand speaking with their not understandable reps, getting the run around between Financial Service & supposedly Customer Service, and the threats on my credit rating. But what happened was my payment crossed again with a higher bill. I had to scream at them & sit on hold forever for them to waive the $7 difference. And they made it sound like some huge big deal favor to me. I don't ever expect to buy another Dell product & I'm doing my best to make sure others think before buying from DELL.
